Since 1983, the Footloose Sound System has been providing the area's highest quality mobile DJ entertainment. Since no two events are exactly alike, we will work with you to customize the performance to your needs and expectations.

We are diversified, multi-system company that can provide you with benefits that separate our services from others. All of our partner DJs have many years of experience, playing for a variety of age groups for a variety of events. Whether you are planning a wedding reception, ceremony, reunion, birthday party, or school dance, we have the expertise to make your event the special occasion that it deserves to be. John and Bob have been part of the Footloose team since 1983. Steve has been a part of the company since 1987, while Leah has been with the company since 1990. Kent joined the team in 1996, but his experience began in the mid-1980s. He was also the lead DJ at the Be-Bops nightclub.

Footloose uses only professional-grade equipment, and we are also the only area DJ service that is fully insured and has our own backup equipment at our disposal. These factors add additional piece of mind for you, our client.

Whether your event is going to held at a small venue, or a larger site such as Hulman Center or the Providence Center, we can provide quality entertainment at the proper volume. For large events, we can provide additional sets of speakers to properly disperse the sound. With Footloose, you will get quality sound at the volume level you need and expect.

In addition to offering expert disc jockey services, Footloose also has lighting systems and karaoke available. Our lighting system will illuminate your dance floor with various colored floor lights, moving to the beat of the music. Our lighting system helps add color and mood to your dance floor area, plus allows you to dim or turn off overhead white lighting, making your dance floor more conducive to dancing. Should you or your guests like to sing, we offer karaoke as an option as well. You may wish to have a karaoke-only party, or mix in karaoke with dancing. While virtually anyone with the equipment can be a karaoke host, it requires special skills and experience to be a disc jockey for an event as important as yours.

We can also provide special services, such as video projector rental, bubble machine, fog machine, and more. Not all facilities permit the use of bubbles or fog, making it imperative to get permission from the venues management.
